The emergence of Spring

Embracing the season with Insou, the artistic duo from Greece

Hello Spring with your sunny interiors, longer days and infectious optimism. How nice of you to grace us with your presence. And bringing along your daffodils, primroses and cherry blossom under powder blue skies too. How delightful!

Souzan and Iness of Insou Jewelry are like the accessory equivalent of Mother Nature. Together they take their polymer clay and handcraft them into vibrant and realistic-looking wearable flowers, encapsulating each season with the addition of gemstones, Czech beads and metal findings, then shipping them off to the world from their home in Athens.

This season you will find blue and yellow forget-me-nots intertwined in leaves and branches and lily of the valleys dangling purely as though descending from heaven. There are balls of narcissi gleaming like the sun and delicate cream rose sakura with dangling pearls, as elegant as an afternoon's walk in Paris.

...

"Nature provides a constant source of inspiration," say Souzan and Iness on why they got into jewellery design. "Our eternal love are lilacs but our passion at the moment are anemones (or windflowers), which appear in many species and colours which do not look alike."

An idyllic Spring day for Souzan would be as follows:

"I would go to the countryside and enjoy a full breakfast with pancakes and strawberries under lemon and orange trees. I would ride my bike and run amongst trees and fields. In the afternoon I would by a lake and watch the sunset free from any problems."

Can we join her?
